Und <em>Kann ich einfach wie zu Hause mit Karte bezahlen?<\/em> <strong>Die Antwort lautet meist: \u201eEs kommt darauf an.\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hier erfahren Sie, was die Daten der Kroatischen Nationalbank und der Europ\u00e4ischen Zentralbank dazu aussagen.<\/p>\n<h2>Karten sind allgegenw\u00e4rtig, doch Bargeld gibt sich nicht kampflos geschlagen<\/h2>\n<p>Wenn Sie Kroatien zuletzt vor einigen Jahren besucht haben, werden Sie eine Ver\u00e4nderung bemerken. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hnb.hr\/c\/document_library\/get_file?uuid=132f2db1-f0a5-c06a-4a0d-005913d4d6ac&amp;groupId=20182&amp;p_auth=3EhywM5o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daten der HNB zeigen, dass im Jahr 2024 853 Millionen Kartentransaktionen durchgef\u00fchrt wurden<\/a>, und die Zahl der im Umlauf befindlichen Karten stieg auf 8,7 Millionen. Das sind doppelt so viele Karten wie Einwohner (und noch ein paar mehr, aber lassen wir das mal au\u00dfer Acht). In Kroatien wird mittlerweile etwa jede vierte Rechnung per Karte bezahlt, und dieser Anteil w\u00e4chst Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr weiter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bargeld gibt jedoch nicht auf<\/strong>. Laut der EZB-Studie zu Zahlungsverhalten (SPACE 2024) wird im gesamten Euro-Raum bei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poslovni.hr\/financije\/hrvatski-gradani-medu-prvima-ce-birati-novac-kartica-ili-digitalni-euro-4513339\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">52 % aller Transaktionen an Verkaufsstellen (gemessen an der Anzahl)<\/a> weiterhin Bargeld verwendet. Mit anderen Worten: <strong>Bargeld deckt die kleinen Ausgaben ab \u2013 Kaffee, Eis, Parkgeb\u00fchren \u2013, w\u00e4hrend Karten bei gr\u00f6\u00dferen Betr\u00e4gen zum Einsatz kommen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>In Kroatien k\u00f6nnen Sie im Allgemeinen f\u00fcr alle gr\u00f6\u00dferen Ausgaben (Unterkunft, Mietwagen, Restaurants, Kraftstoff, Lebensmittel) mit Karte bezahlen, sollten jedoch Bargeld f\u00fcr kleinere Ausgaben mitnehmen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>An manchen Orten wird nach wie vor Bargeld bevorzugt; halten Sie daher etwas Bargeld bereit, wenn Sie in einer kleinen Konoba auf einer Insel zu Mittag essen, auf dem Markt Obst und Gem\u00fcse kaufen oder ein Taxi in die Au\u00dfenbezirke nehmen.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Wo Sie auf jeden Fall Bargeld ben\u00f6tigen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>M\u00e4rkte und kleine familiengef\u00fchrte L\u00e4den<\/strong>: insbesondere in kleineren Orten in Istrien und Dalmatien. Wenn Sie vorhaben, direkt bei den Erzeugern einzukaufen (und Sie sollten unbedingt den hausgemachten Prosciutto und das Oliven\u00f6l probieren), nehmen Sie Bargeld mit. In Restaurants, gr\u00f6\u00dferen Superm\u00e4rkten, an Tankstellen und nat\u00fcrlich bei jeder Buchung einer Villa oder Ferienwohnung funktioniert die Bezahlung per Karte reibungslos.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bezahlen per Smartphone (Apple Pay, Google Pay)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Google Pay<\/strong> sowie <strong>Apple Pay<\/strong> sind mittlerweile in immer mehr Gesch\u00e4ften g\u00e4ngige Zahlungsmethoden.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Wie sieht es also mit den lokalen Gewohnheiten aus?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Kroatien befindet sich derzeit am Schnittpunkt zweier Zahlungswelten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Die Kroaten sch\u00e4tzen es, die Wahl zu haben<\/strong>. Laut einer Studie der Agentur CEPER, die Ende 2023 und Anfang 2024 in mitteleurop\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern durchgef\u00fchrt wurde, <a href=\"https:\/\/financije.hr\/zivot-bez-kartica-nezamisliv-ali-u-istocnoj-europi-vole-i-gotovinu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">besitzen mehr als 80 % der kroatischen B\u00fcrger eine Debit- oder Kreditkarte<\/a>, doch gleichzeitig gibt mehr als ein F\u00fcnftel der Befragten an, lieber immer bar zu bezahlen. Dies entspricht den Gewohnheiten in Ungarn, Serbien oder Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>Es sei noch einmal erw\u00e4hnt: Bargeld ist hier noch kein Museumsst\u00fcck, wie es in manchen Teilen der Welt der Fall ist; haben Sie daher immer etwas Bargeld bei sich.
