Have you ever experienced the ultimate luxury of welcoming the new year in a cosy villa? No? Now might be the perfect time! Since most of our villas can accommodate large groups, you can bring your friends too!<\/p>\n

Villas\u00a0usually\u00a0have\u00a0an\u00a0open-plan\u00a0living\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0dining\u00a0area<\/strong>. They also have several bedrooms and bathrooms. Most of our villas have an outdoor pool, some of which are heated. However, swimming is only available in most of the pools until mid-October or the beginning of November, so make sure to double-check if a pool is open at the end of December. Some villas also offer indoor<\/strong> or outdoor wellness<\/strong> facilities<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0a\u00a0whirlpool<\/strong> or\u00a0sauna<\/strong> (infrared or Finnish)<\/strong>. You\u00a0will\u00a0also\u00a0find\u00a0villas\u00a0offering\u00a0a\u00a0pool table, table tennis, table football, a PlayStation console, darts<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0a\u00a0fitness\u00a0area,<\/strong>\u00a0so\u00a0you’re\u00a0sure to\u00a0find\u00a0something\u00a0to\u00a0keep\u00a0you\u00a0entertained.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, if you prefer large-scale public celebrations<\/strong>, you will find events with DJs and popular local musicians in most coastal towns in Istria, the Kvarner Region and Dalmatia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0<\/span>ideas<\/span>\u00a0for\u00a0<\/span>celebrating<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>arrival<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0New\u00a0<\/span>Year<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>squares<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>some<\/span>\u00a0Croatian\u00a0<\/span>towns<\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>celebration in Rovinj<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0take place on 31\u00a0<\/span>December<\/span>\u00a02025 on\u00a0<\/span>Marshal<\/span>\u00a0Tito\u00a0<\/span>Square<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Famous<\/span>\u00a0Croatian music\u00a0<\/span>groups<\/span><\/span><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>including<\/span>\u00a0Plavi Orkestar,\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>see<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>you<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>into<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0New\u00a0<\/span>Year<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The New Year’s programme in Pula<\/strong><\/a> will take place on 31 December 2025 from 9 pm on Portarata Square<\/strong>, where you will be entertained by famous Croatian musicians.<\/p>\n

The coastal town of Opatija<\/strong><\/a> will be celebrating the arrival of 2026 in the town market square. Several Croatian musicians will be performing to keep you company on the last day of 2025. This celebration will be pet-friendly<\/strong> as there will be no fireworks<\/strong>. The celebrations start at 9 pm.<\/p>\n

Pore\u010d<\/strong><\/a> will also be celebrating on two town squares. The main programme will take place on Freedom Square (Trg Slobode), featuring the famous Croatian musician Toni Cetinski. There will also be a parallel music programme on Matija Gubec Square, showcasing modern <\/strong>and dynamic music. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Crikvenica<\/a><\/strong>, a town in the Kvarner region, will greet the New Year in the street Preradovi\u0107eva ulica in the city centre, accompanied by the famous Croatian music groups B Band and Colonia.<\/p>\n

If you decide to head further south, you can spend the New Year’s Eve on Makarska<\/strong>‘s square Ka\u010di\u0107ev trg<\/a>, enjoying the music of the renowned Dalmatian musician Dra\u017een Ze\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n

Throughout December, you will find lots of festive events<\/strong> in towns and cities across Croatia. Wherever you choose to stay, there will be plenty of activities in nearby towns in the Kvarner Region<\/a>, the Zadar Region<\/a>, the Split Region<\/a>, and Zagreb, the capital city<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although accommodation bookings are in full swing, you can still find cosy villas<\/a> throughout the country that are available at the end of December. Please note that most villas require a minimum booking of 7 nights.<\/p>\n

Villas in Istria<\/h3>\n

This charming villa, which combines Istrian tradition<\/strong> with modern elegance<\/strong>, is located in the small village of Tar, close to the coastal town of Pore\u010d. It can accommodate up to eight people. Outside, there is a covered terrace and a barbecue. You can also warm yourself on a chilly December night in the infrared sauna<\/strong>. The villa is situated just 2.5 kilometres from the nearest beach, and if you are brave enough, you can start the New Year by taking your very first swim in the Adriatic Sea in 2026.<\/p>\n
