The lovely villa Lukas is situated on the outskirts of the Markovići village, right beside Vižinada. It's the perfect holiday destination for a party of 10, as there are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms spread out across the main house and an extra house by the pool, making sure everyone is comfortable. The property features a 2-storey main house spanning 230 m² and a smaller 41 m² house. Both properties have air conditioning, and every room in the main house has underfloor heating. The ground floor of the main house comprises an elegant open-plan area housing the living room, dining room and kitchen. White and grey shades prevail, creating a serene atmosphere. Modern furnishings are complemented by wooden accents that add a touch of warmth to the minimalist interior. In the big lounge, you can have a movie night or play board games that are there to be enjoyed, and for even more comfort there is a fireplace. A sizable dining table has room for 10 people, and the modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a kitchen island is ideal for preparing delicious meals while overlooking the pool and landscaped garden. The area is bright with natural sunlight from three glass doors that lead to the terrace and pool.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the first floor of the main house. In addition, there is 1 more bedroom in the pool house. Each room has an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have a double bed and a TV. All but 1 room on the first floor have their own exit to the terrace or balcony, so you can wake up with a view of the unique Istrian nature from the spacious first-floor balcony. Designed as personal retreats for visitors to relax, the rooms are bright and have simple contemporary furnishings. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated and are equipped with walk-in showers, hairdryers and toiletries. One bathroom is additionally fitted with a bidet. As you enter the smaller house, you'll find a bedroom that opens out onto the rear terrace for added privacy, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Additionally, an elegant bathtub is located in the bedroom.
The yard, which covers 1900 m², will captivate you with its attractive Mediterranean flora and lawns. The outdoor areas have stone paths that add to their charm. There is a large 50 m² pool with hydromassage. It offers a beautiful view of Istrian nature and the sea in the distance. You can relax in the deckchairs and use the outdoor shower. While you relax, children can play on the trampoline and swing. There is also a sports field where they can play volleyball, badminton or football. A stylish outdoor cooking area with a barbecue and a large covered terrace with a dining table is connected to the smaller house, where you can spend enjoyable moments with your family. There is also a table tennis table next to the terrace for your added fun.
Pets are allowed upon request and with prior confirmation from the property owner. Guests arriving with a pet are required to provide advance notice, and any additional fee is paid directly to the property owner.
To discover nearby attractions, we suggest cycling along the wine and olive oil routes, just 500 metres from the villa. Moreover, a stunning cycling and walking path called Parenzana runs directly in front of the house. It follows the old railway line and showcases one of Istria's most lovely routes for outdoor pursuits. If you choose to explore further by car, you can reach the picturesque historical town of Buje, as well as the charming Novigrad and the unique Poreč on the Adriatic coast within 30 minutes by car.
