Luxury Villa Amyra, built in 2011 in a rustic style and fully renovated in 2022, perfectly blends the traditional architecture of Istria and Tuscany with modern comfort and convenience. The villa offers 243 m² of living space on a 744 m² estate, furnished with new pieces and carefully selected antiques that reflect the Mediterranean spirit. From the upper floor and kitchen, there are beautiful open views of the Adriatic Sea, located just 10 km away.
The villa accommodates up to 10 guests, with 8 being the ideal number, and is fully air-conditioned. A spacious yard, fragrant Mediterranean plants and various amenities for children make this villa perfect for family vacations.
The ground floor features a spacious and tastefully decorated living room with a romantic fireplace, a 65” TV and a sofa that can serve as an extra bed for two people. There is also a dining area with a table for 8 to 10 people, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. This floor also includes one bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and en suite bathroom with a shower, and high ceilings that create a sense of luxury. Next to the main house is an additional 52 m² guest unit, which includes another bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower – ideal for guests who want more privacy.
The villa has a covered terrace with curtains for privacy, a charcoal or wood barbecue, and an outdoor dining table – perfect for open-air breakfasts or romantic sunset dinners.
The heated swimming pool measures 96 m² with a depth of 1.5 m, allowing for swimming from spring through autumn. Eight sun loungers provide relaxing space by the pool. Guests can enjoy table tennis, darts, satellite or cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, books and a well-maintained garden.
The property is fully fenced, with a landscaped yard and plenty of greenery that ensures peace and privacy. There are 4 private parking spaces inside the yard and 2 more outside the gate.
Villa Amyra is located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature on one side, and just 200 meters from the medieval town of Sveti Lovreč on the other. Sveti Lovreč is one of the best-preserved old towns in Istria, with archaeological findings dating back to the Bronze Age. Guests will find everything they need for daily life here – a grocery store, pizzeria, and café, while nearby Lim Bay offers one of Istria’s top seafood restaurants.
The surrounding area is full of nature trails for walking, biking, or exploring with pets. The municipality of Sveti Lovreč borders the cities of Poreč and Rovinj, both worth visiting. Everything in Istria is close – wine and olive oil tours, bike rentals, karting, trekking routes, an adventure park, Poreč ski lift, diving, sailing, and horseback riding – all just 15 minutes from the villa.
Villa was brilliant overall. My only remark is about beds - being too soft and uncomfortable. Claudia was super kind and helpful. The whole place is perfect for a very nice vacation in Istria. It's a shame prices are overall too high in Croatia. That will probably prevent us from coming again.
