Villa Milica is one of the first holiday homes in Istria awarded the Eco Domus certificate, guaranteeing that it is an eco-friendly and sustainable property. To receive this certification, the villa had to meet several criteria, such as the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and recycling practices. The goal of this project is to make Istria a “green region” and reduce the environmental impact of holiday homes. A steam cleaner in the villa further ensures a clean and safe environment.
In 2017, Villa Milica entered the European Holiday Home Award for the first time and ranked among the top 8 in Europe in the category “best green holiday home”. In 2018, in strong competition, it was selected as the winner in the same category by an expert jury.
