A stroll through the old town centre
In the heart of the old town, visit the 13th-century Kaštel with its Kvadrac tower, built by the Croatian aristocratic Frankopan family and the most important historical monument in Novi Vinodolski. The signing of the Vinodol Law, the oldest legal document in Croatian, took place in Novi Vinodolski, making it a historically significant location. Today, the room where it was signed can be visited and the complex has been transformed into the National Museum and Gallery, city library and mayor's office.
